Job Description:
We are looking for a driven and committed Information Technology Intern. We offer an interesting and diverse working environment with an international team setting.

The successful candidate has an opportunity to be involved in many aspects of IT related activities. The role requires someone who has a “can do” attitude as well as highly organized and flexible.

The responsibilities will include among others:

– Assist with day to day computer issues and questions; identify problem and solution
– Monitor operating systems and network and identify areas for improvement
– Set up PCs; install software and updates
– Evaluate primary Server and network and make necessary changes to improve performance
– Map the organization’s IT infrastructure and record asset data (serial numbers, conditions, etc.)
– Create a central repository of information and solutions document for frequent/common problems that arise
– Help train/educate users on the use of the information technologies available
– Support users in working with Microsoft Online Services and other software as needed

Candidate Requirements:
INTERN PROFILE
-Language requirements: Strong command of the English language
-Education: IT
-Other qualifications:
*Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, willingness to learn, proactive, positive attitude and can commit to their projects and ideas
*Extremely detail-oriented, well-developed organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
*Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows XP, 7), and Microsoft Office
*Knowledge of computer administration (ex. installing printers, setting up software, running computer diagnostics)
*Basic database skills (creation and maintenance); some application development experience desirable
-Passionate about technology and the Web
-Curious, creative, quick learner, problem-solver
-Windows skilled user (able to manage, troubleshoot, maintain and optimize Windows systems)
-Good Office knowledge (Excel in particular)
-Networking skills (protocols, security, etc)
-Familiar with Linux, Apache, MySQL, FTP, E-mail (able to setup, configure, troubleshoot, maintain)
-Familiar with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster tools, blogs, sites and social media (having a blog is a plus)
-Familiar with WordPress (being able to customize themes and fix issues is a plus), other CMS (knowing other CMS, such as Magento is a plus)
-Strong HTML & CSS Skills
-Good knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Javascript/JQuery (familiar with OOP, Design Patterns, using a MVC framework are a major plus)
-Good knowledge of Photoshop and/or Illustrator and/or Indesign
-Knowledge of Regular Expressions (Regex) is a big plus
-French/Dutch native/speaker would be a plus
